Bread Pudding - Small Batch

Ingredients
7 Eggs
1/2 Quart Milk
1/2 Quart Cream
1/2 Quart Cream
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Pinch Cinnamon
1 Pinch Nutmeg
1/4 Cup Raisins
2 Tablespoons Butter
3/4 Po-Boy Loaf
Method:
In a bowl, mix eggs, milk, cream, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg together. Cut the po-boy loaf into 1" slices. Set in a deep casserole dish and pour custard over the bread. Mix in raisins. Dot the top with butter. Bake in water bath at 325', covered, until firm in center, approximately 1 hour.
Whiskey Sauce - Small Batch
Serving Size = 6
Ingredients
6 Egg Yolks
1 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Ounces Irish Whiskey
Vanilla -- to taste
Method:
In a mixing bowl, whisk egg yolks with sugar until light and a lemon color. Scald milk, gradually pour into egg mixture while whisking. Add vanilla, place over double boiler and whisk until sauce thickens. Remove from heat. Add Irish whiskey and keep sauce warm.
